Traveling Mercies

I gave up on Another Roadside Attraction. Maybe another time.

I am, however, reading Anne Lammott's Traveling Mercies: Some Thoughts on Faith which I am loving. Unfortunately, however, I am too poor to purchase said book. So after work, I sit in the cafe and read. I should get a notebook for quotables, as there are many here.

I always said that if Christianity were just me, CS Lewis, and Jesus, I'd be all about it. But I'm pretty sure Anne Lammott could be part of our clique.

Another Roadside Attraction

So, I'm reading Another Roadside Attraction by Tom Robbins, and it's kind of boring the hell out of me. Part of the problem is I'm reading very slowly, but I'm reading very slowly because I'm bored.
Meh.

The Point

I tend to get very obessed with books, and all things related. Problem is, sometimes I find myself on book purchasing binges, searching and searching for book values and books worth reading, that I forget to actually, you know, read. So I want to be able to chart my own progress--watch myself reading, I guess.
